Program Information
We, as an FM Fierce organization, base decisions on what would benefit players and our teams the most. Coaches are committed to helping your daughter grow as both a basketball player and individual. As we head into our 5th AAU season we have cultivated a program that is rooted in fundamentals and team culture, yet is flexible enough to adapt and become a better version season after season. We are grateful for what we have accomplished so far and enjoy being able to provide more opportunities every season for our players.
Schedule & Fees/Registration
Below you will find our tentative schedule for the season with practices and tournaments. We are somewhat flexible when it comes to the schedule as we try to accommodate what works best for everyone. We request to not play Friday night games at tournaments in the Twin Cites and for a later morning start on Saturdays. Practices are usually held at Moorhead High School.
It is looking like we may have 3 teams this year to accommodate the 7th-11th grade interest we have from new and returning players.
Our cost per player will be around $800+/- which pays for tournament registration, AAU membership cards, gym time, jerseys, warm ups, coaching fees, and administrative expenses.
Online registration will be open until March 9th. Registering on our website is our formal way of showing interest in being a part of the team.
Transportation & Hotels
Transportation is the responsibility of each family. We do put in the effort to set up team hotels for our families that gives the option to our players to all stay at the same location. We work with hotel representatives to get the best rates and set up a block of rooms. It is then the responsibility of each family to reserve a room before the cut-off date. It is not required to stay at the team hotel, however it has worked out well in the past.
Tryouts
Rosters are capped at 12 players per team. With this number we usually end up with about 8 or 9 players per tournament. As registrations filters in we will determine number of players and decide if we need to host a tryout.
